OUR STORY

Woodline Farm is set in one hundred and sixty acres of bluegrass rolling hills in historic Bourbon County, Kentucky. We are loacted two miles from Claiborne Farm in rich horse country. Our neighbors include Hidden Brook Farm, Stone Farm and Sienna Farm. Woodline specailizes in breeding and foaling mares. Raising racehorses with strong bone and hardy mentality is what we do here everyday. We have six barns, approximately sixty stalls, hay barns, foaling cameras and a covered round pen. Breeders Cup Juvenile Turf and dual Grade One winner TAPITSFLY (Tapit) is our leading graduate alongside Grade One winning J.B.'S THUNDER (Thunder Gulch).

This is a family run operation headed up by Beau Lane and his wife Gail Lane,  Farm Manager Michael Orem (Beau's son in law) and J.B. (Beau's daughter). Michael and JB's son Lane Orem is involved with foaling mares and assisting his family.

Photos show the extraction of Kentucky Derby winner Dust Commander's bones. After a long hunt the remains were found in 2013 on Woodline Farm and taken to the Kentucky Derby museum at Churchill Downs.
